Eddie R. Aparicio

Eddie R. Aparicio’s (b. 1990, Los Angeles CA; lives and works in Los Angeles CA) work focuses on the connections between Central America and Los Angeles, identifying multiple sites as a part of the same community and history as a crucial strategy of decolonial practice.

He has received numerous awards and has been shown in notable exhibitions at The Hammer Museum (2021), El Museo (2021) and Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art (2020) among others. He has had solo exhibitions at Commonwealth and Council, Los Angeles CA (2020); Páramo, Guadalajara, Mexico (2019); and The Mistake Room, Los Angeles CA (2018)
